I purchased this item for my mother for Christmas. Unfortunately after trying to set it up for over an hour support informed us this item is not Apple compatible. A return was started & executed 12/29, it is now 01/11 & i have yet to receive my money back. Guess I’m the fool who is out $160. If you’re purchasing this in hopes of using it with a Macbook, don’t waste your money like I did.The Ambir TravelScan Pro - Sheetfed scanner - Legal - 600 dpi x 600 dpi - Hi-Speed USB is a good scanner. Ambir has good Teck support and can get you the software and drivers for there products free in most cases. This scanner is not one of there newer products so be aware that it only supports a 32bit system.it'sgood, a space saver but doesn't feed thin paper well like store receiptsThis unit only scans one side. Software could be easier to use. Wife can't ever remember the name of it due to name being different from scanner and therefore doesn't use.We now have four of the TravelScan Pro Document and ID Scanners in our office. They our great, they use very little space on our desks and the quality of the scans be it a document or ID Card is outstanding. I would recommend this product to any one.Did exactly what we wanted it to do.Great value.FmI would recommend this desktop scanner to anyone. It is streamline, takes very little space on my desk and is very easy to use. It scans and captures images with great clarity.Works great! Highly recommend!
