About Smiling Wisdom Having to Say Goodbye During a cancer scare, I felt it was important to write letters to my children in case I didn't survive. I couldn’t accomplish the letters at the time. At the time, saying goodbye felt like giving in to cancer and giving up hope. Later, I became a life coach with a specialty of end-of-life coaching. After working with clients to write love letters to their families, I learned that they had the same paralysis of words that I did. Love Letters to the Family With some deep reflection, I called upon my love for writing and design. After hours of emotional writing, I finally wrote my letters to my friends and family. Many of the letters are now Smiling Wisdom greeting cards. Writing prompted an epiphany--We should share how we feel about others now, while we are alive--not just as words to leave behind. Smiling Wisdom Packaging Full-sized greeting cards come in a thick semi-transparent PP button envelope to protect the card and paper envelope. Flat jewelry is packaged in a velveteen bag lined with satin. Jewelry is packed in a plastic bag to avoid oxidation with will tarnish some metals like silver.
